Sisterhood

Activities
The best part about being a Theta is that there’s always something to do! We plan events that are fun and different – like Spring Break Trips, Bowling, Ropes Courses, Grill Outs, Roller Skating, and Holiday parties!

We also have Crush dances and formals every semester. Everyone loves an excuse to get dressed up and take pictures. Some of our past themes have included Toga, Mardi Gras, Shamrock, King of Hearts, 80's and Hawaiian.
And of course there’s lots of unplanned everyday stuff– like going to football games together, watching Grey's Anatomy, going out to dinner, or just hanging out.
Intramural Sports
Our sorority has also become very active in intramural sports, which has afforded us the opportunity to get to know girls in other sororities as well as bringing us closer together as a chapter. We never have a shortage of players, and even the sisters who are not playing often come to cheer on their sisters. Our team spirit enabled us to be last years intramural champs of basketball, soccer, and won second place in volleyball!

Ritual
As sisters in an international fraternity, we share common bonds through the rituals and ceremonies that make up the structure of our fraternity. Ritual is important to our chapter, because it teaches us valuable lessons about sisterhood. The sisters of Kappa Alpha Theta strive to exemplify the ideals and morals of our organization in everyday life.
